This scholarship is available to undergraduate students who have shown an interest in improving the usefulness of pedigreed livestock (beef cattle, horses, sheep, and swine) by participating in 4-H, FFA, livestock judging teams, livestock clubs, and/or associations or engaging in extracurricular work with pedigreed livestock. Preference will be given to students in the Animal Sciences major. This scholarship is endowed by friends and colleagues of Herman Purdy. Eligible individual should submit a completed application to the Huntingdon County Fair Office no later than July 1st.
